BioVind offers on-site genomic testing services to help operators fully characterize the microbial communities present in their systems and identify organisms associated with microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). Our team conducts field sampling at the client’s facility, transports samples under controlled conditions, and performs next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis in the laboratory to generate a comprehensive microbial profile.
The resulting genomic data is used to identify dominant and emerging microbial species, assess corrosion-relevant metabolic pathways, and determine which organisms present the greatest operational risk. These insights directly inform the development of targeted molecular assays optimized for the client’s specific environment.
